Naim Süleymanoğlu was born on January 23, 1967, in Bulgaria.He started weightlifting when he was very young. He was very strong and talented. Naim became a champion in many competitions and won his first world championship at the age of 15. In 1986, he moved to Türkiye and represented the country in the Olympics. He won three Olympic gold medals and many other prizes. People called him the "Pocket Hercules" because he was short but very strong. Naim Süleymanoğlu inspired many young athletes. He worked hard and showed that anything is possible. He passed away on November 18, 2017.
