Last summer, I went on an amazing trip to see some of the world's most interesting animals in their natural habitats. I started in the (1)_of Brazil, where I saw a (2)_playing in the trees. Sadly, they are endangered because their homes are being destroyed by deforestation. Brazil's rainforests are very hot and humid, perfect for many animals like monkeys, snakes, and colourful birds, but the rainforests are in danger due to global problems. Next, I travelled to the (3)_of Africa, where I saw a (4)_running at incredible speeds. Cheetahs are also endangered because of habitat loss and illegal hunting. They are the fastest animals on land, reaching speeds up to 70 miles per hour! The grasslands are huge, open spaces with very few trees, and they are home to many animals like lions, zebras, and giraffes. But these areas are becoming smaller and smaller, and many animals are at risk because of human activities.

Then, I went to the (5)_near Antarctica, where I saw a (6)_swimming in the cold waters. Penguins are facing danger, too, such as global warming, which is melting the ice they need. The ocean around Antarctica is freezing, but penguins love it. As the temperature rises, their habitats are disappearing. I also visited the (7)_of China, where I saw a (8)_eating bamboo. Pandas are endangered because their habitat is being destroyed, and they have very few places to live. The woodlands are calm and peaceful, and pandas live there because they like quiet places with lots of bamboo. But, with deforestation and climate change, their numbers are slowly decreasing. I hope to visit the deserts and jungles next time to learn more about other animals and their homes as well as to understand how global problems like pollution and climate change are affecting them.
