Hello! My name is Priya and I'm from India. I speak Hindi and I study English at school. I live in New Delhi, the capital city. It is famous for India Gate and Lotus Temple. I am friendly and cheerful. I enjoy learning about other people's experiences. I love making new friends because meeting people from different cultures helps meunderstand the world better. I have a nice family. My mother is a biology teacher and my father is a software engineer. My brother is a student. We often spend our evenings together and talk about our day. I go to a secondary school in New Delhi. I especially enjoy English and history because I am good at them. I am a successfulstudent. I enjoy taking part in classroom activities. Sometimes, we work in groups. It helps me to improve my teamwork and speaking skills. Last summer, I was on a school trip to Japan with my classmates. We were in Tokyo. Shibuya Crossing and Tokyo Tower were two important places to visit. We were at the cherry blossom festival, Hanami. It was colourful and very enjoyable.

I was with Luis from Spain at the cherry blossom festival. He speaks Spanish. He lives in Barcelona. It is famous for its beaches and football stadiums. Gracia festival is a famous Spanish festival. People taste different cuisines and watch folkdancers there.  People from all over the world enjoy celebrating special occasions with their families and friends. Learning about them helps me understand other cultures.
